We are seeking a suitable candidate to join our team as Assistant Research Officer/ Research Officer.
The research focuses on investigating the virulence factors of human fungal pathogens (Candida albicans and Candida auris), with the aim of elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying the emergence of antimicrobial resistance and developing potential strategies for disease prevention. The successful candidate will support in maintaining lab infrastructure and research studies.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc (Hons) / MSc in Biological Sciences or related fields.
- Experience with molecular cloning, RNA extraction and qPCR is required.
- Experience in sequence-related bioinformatics analysis is an advantage.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Interested in science and willingness to pursue graduate study is preferred.
