Administrative and Technical Support

The Role

This position is part of our Grants and Project Management team, providing a blend of operational and scientific support. It involves contributing to a diverse portfolio of grants and projects, tracking their scientific and financial health, while supporting the refinement of internal administrative workflows and reporting templates.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the end-to-end administration of grants and projects. This includes
  • review, process and consolidate grant claims requests; monitor budgets and expenditures, and handle budget variations for grants and projects
  • perform data collation, milestone tracking, grant claims submission, and project invoicing
  • preparation and submission of progress and closing reports
  1. Support the grant and project proposal process – including the development and finalization of scientific proposals, preparation of slide decks or similar documentation, drafting and finalization of research-related agreements
     
  2. Liaise with the internal and external stakeholders (Scientists, Finance, HR, Funding agencies, Partner organizations, Auditors, etc.) for all grants and projects related matters
  1. Consolidate and synthesize grants and projects data into timely and insightful updates for Management, HODs, and auditors
  2. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Recognized Degree or equivalent, preferably in a science or business discipline. We value candidates who can navigate both the technical and financial aspects of R&D.
  • Basic understanding of research-related agreements, a general awareness of grant funding processes, and an interest in learning thereof.
  • Fresh graduates with good learning agility and a proactive mindset will also be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Prior experience in formulating spreadsheets will be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise while carrying out the task in a meticulous and organised manner. Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
