Prof Chua Nam Hai Group: Postdoctoral Position
Research
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team for a two-year project focusing on plant developmental biology, with an emphasis on the analysis of single-cell transcriptomics data. The successful candidate will study cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying plant development using advanced genomics approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on plant developmental biology using molecular genetics and genomics approaches
- Perform analysis of single-cell transcriptomics datasets and integrate them with functional studies
- Carry out experiments including gene expression analysis, genome editing, and transgenic plant development
- Collect data, perform statistical and bioinformatic analyses, and compile findings for reports and publications
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to research discussions
Requirements:
- PhD in Plant Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field
- Strong background in plant molecular biology and developmental biology
- Experience in analysis of single-cell transcriptomics is highly desirable
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to work effectively as part of a team
