We are seeking to hire a suitable candidate to work on DiSTAP projects, which focus on the growth rate, improved shelf-life, nutrient analysis, and beneficial metabolite analysis of leafy vegetables cultivated in indoor hydroponic farms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Research:
To design and carry out experiments or studies and collect data for analysis and interpretation of results.
- Write and Publish Research Papers or Handle IP process:
To write and publish research findings and submit invention disclosure.
- Collaborate with Other Researchers:
To work closely with other researchers within the Institution as well as DiSTAP faculty members.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in crop molecular biology or breeding from the Department of Agronomy or Horticulture of a reputable university, OR PhD degree in bioinformatics or phenomics related to plant physiology or secondary metabolites from a reputable university.
- Proven track record of scientific contributions, evident through at least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal.
