A Laboratory Technologist or Assistant Research Officer position is immediately available at the Plant Biotechnology Group.

The successful applicant is expected to join the bioenergy research team to conduct in vitro propagation, organogenesis study and genetic transformation. Other related responsibilities include media preparation and culture maintenance.

The candidate should possess a Bachelor or Master Degree in Life Sciences with good technical skills. Experience in tissue culture techniques of tree species including micro-propagation, regeneration or genetic transformation will be advantageous.
