What are TLL Symposia?
TLL symposia provide a conducive environment for sharing of scientific ideas between researchers from all over the world. Topics change from year to year. The most recent TLL Symposium, “Evolution of Form and Function in Cells and Organisms”, was held in January 2007. Previous symposia focused on aspects of cell biology of development and diseases, functional genomics, signaling and replication.

The 6th TLL symposium will bring together researchers whose fundamental work in aspects of molecular cell biology have led to (or likely to lead to) tangible innovations and biotechnological applications.

Other Information
The symposium will be held at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory, located within the campus of the National University of Singapore. It will begin in the morning of Thursday, 24 January 2008 and will conclude on Friday, 25 January 2008. The program will consist of both oral and poster presentations.

There are some travel funds available for students and postdocs.

We plan to select few short oral presentations from the submitted poster abstracts. The deadline for abstract submission is 31 October 2007.

Registration fees (includes meals and refreshments): S$300/- (public), S$50/- (academic staff/student).

Please make cheque / cashier’s order / bank draft in Singapore dollars payable to “Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory” and mail your cheque to:
