We are seeking for a highly motivated individual to analyze transcriptome and metabolic profiles in hydroponically-grown leafy vegetables and other plants, and link the quantitative multi-omics data to physiological alterations (growth rate, color changes etc.). The project will also develop new optical sensors to extract plant traits in a non-invasive manner (the candidate might be involved as a sub-project, if interested).
- PhD Degree in the fields of plant science from a reputable university
- At least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal.
- Previous experience in bioinformatics is not essential but advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and work ethics are highly required
