We are looking for an enthusiastic member to join our nutrition research projects. The candidate will assist to develop aquaponic and fish nutrition research facility and be responsible for fish care, research project management and procurement/administration.
Responsibilities:
- Daily care and husbandry of aquatic animals
- Maintenance of the aquaculture system
- Participate in set-up and design of new trials
- Participate in experimental trials of aquatic animals, not limited to
- Feeding
- Husbandry
- Data collection
- Data analysis
- Research on aquaculture-related topics
- Assist with sourcing and procurement of equipment and supplies
Requirements:
- Diploma in Aquaculture or related fields
- Prior experience in aquaculture or marine science will be an added advantage
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Able to work in Lim Chu Kang area
- Adaptable to different working environments (office and trial sites)
