We are seeking for a highly motivated candidate to join our group. Our lab aims to establish automated high-throughput imaging and quantification platform to assess host-pathogen interactions using Caenorhabditis elegans as a host model for Candida species.
The successful candidate will support in maintaining lab infrastructure and research studies related to Candida pathogenesis (e.g. molecular, yeast and worm experiments). Trainings will be provided in following areas:
- Molecular techniques
- Microbiology techniques
- Worm work
- Image analysis
- Minimum BSc (Hons) / MSc in Biological Sciences or related fields
- Good problem-solving skills (both practical and theoretical aspects) in the area of genetics and molecular biology. Experience with molecular biology or Candida is preferred
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
