We are hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Fellow for a project on generation of low-arsenic and low-cadmium rice seeds. The research project takes molecular genetics and genetic engineering approaches to generate new rice lines that accumulate low levels of arsenic and cadmium in rice seeds.
- PhD Degree in the field of Plant Genetics and Development, Biochemistry or Cell Biology from a recognized university
- At least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal
- Experience in plant nutrition and/or rice is preferred
- Highly motivated, able to undertake independent research and also a team player with excellent communication skills
