Applicants are invited to join the Biomaterials and Biocatalysts Group as a Lab Technologist, Assistant Research Officer or Postdoctoral Fellow.
Responsibilities:
- Gene cloning and expression in microbes and plants
- Analyses of gene expression profiles in plant tissues
- Characterization of protein functions
- Purification, quantification and identification of metabolites
- Bio-process development
Requirements:
- A diploma or higher degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Highly-motivated person who is able to work independently
- Experience in next generation sequencing and bio-informatics will be an advantage
