Dr Koh Tong-Wey Group: Postdoctoral Position

We are hiring a candidate to develop a diagnostic method for Parkinson’s disease (PD). This project is a collaboration with National Neuroscience Institute and Entopsis Inc, a U.S. startup. The diagnostic method involves the use of colorimetric sensor array to distinguish PD and healthy urine based on metabolite profiles. Responsibilities:

  • Research published literature for metabolite profiles of PD urine
  • Lead effort to develop and optimize colorimetric assays for urine with PD-enriched metabolites

Requirements:

  • PhD Degree in Chemistry, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology or equivalent
  • At least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal on a related topic
  • Ability to conduct inter-disciplinary and collaborative research
