A vacancy for an Assistant Research Officer (ARO) is available in Dr. Katsutomo Okamura Group in February 2012. The Group studies molecular mechanisms of small non-coding RNA biogenesis using fruit flies Drosophila melanogaster.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of fly stocks
- Recombinant protein purification
- Cell culture
- DNA cloning
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc Hons (with lab experience) or MSc in biology.
- Skills in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology are advantageous.
